On Saturday, July 27, 2024, the residence of the French Ambassador to Indonesia, East Timor, and ASEAN, H.E. Fabien Penone, transformed into a showcase of emerging talent. At this exclusive Trunk Show, six alumni from École Duperré Paris unveiled their latest collections, captivating attendees with their innovative designs. This event, part of the PINTU Incubator 2024's Focus Week, not only displayed the future potential of French fashion but also underscored the significant cultural exchange between France and Indonesia.

The Trunk Show, attended by high-profile figures such as the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs of Indonesia, Mr. Teten Masduki, and Ms. Ni Made Ayu Marthini, Deputy Minister of Marketing at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, offered these young designers a platform to network and receive invaluable exposure. Ambassador Penone emphasized the importance of this collaboration, facilitated by JF3, Lakon Indonesia, and the French Embassy through the Institut Français d'Indonésie, in his opening remarks, celebrating the progress and opportunities it has fostered.

The designers- Coline Percin, Louisa Gauchon, Guy Chassaing, Ninon Fievet, Daniel Cheruzel, and Noemie Jondot—later participated in a parade show alongside five PINTU Incubator participants. This runway event, titled 'PINTU Incubator Participants X École Duperré,' occurred during the JF3 Fashion Festival 2024 on July 31, at the Salsa Fashion Tent, Summarecon Mall Serpong, further highlighting the dynamic interplay of Indonesian and French design philosophies.

This trunk show not only showcased avant-garde fashion but also acted as a cultural bridge, reinforcing the ties between the two nations through the universal language of fashion.
