This marked the third time French designers presented their collections at JF3.

These four French designers are part of PINTU Mentors, who guide PINTU Incubator participants in creating sustainable and globally integrated brands. Their participation in JF3 Fashion Festival 2024 reflected the PINTU Incubator's dedication to fostering intercultural inspiration and partnerships between the fashion ecosystems of France and Indonesia.

Here are the profiles of four French designers and their collections:

  1. Alice Rio-Derrey of 2 Mai Paris presented “Rising Wardrobe” collection
Founder and artistic director of 2 Mai Paris, Alice Rio-Derrey was born on May 2, the inspiration behind the brand's name. A graduate of École Duperré, Alice channeled her creativity and values to establish 2 Mai Paris in 2018. At JF3 Fashion Festival 2024, Alice presented "Rising Wardrobe," inspired by everything from flea markets to the runway. This eclectic, maximalist collection features embroidery, fabric painting, and knitting, transforming recycled materials into wearable art.
  2. Bastien Beny of Domestique presented “SUPERMARKET” collection
Bastien Beny is the co-founder, head designer, and leather craftsman for Domestique, luxury brand for leather jewelry and accessories. Besides Domestique, Bastien has been collaborating with Hermès’ “Petit h” since 2011. At JF3 Fashion Festival 2024, Domestique introduced the Marché Nouveau collection under the theme SUPERMARKET. It was an interpretation of the fusion of local market and supermarket, with the aim of highlighting consumer behavior and the commitment to the environment through iconic leather goods.
  3. Guillaume Hiriart Carriat of ATXI presented “Egoitza” collection
The ready-to-wear brand and leather accessories, ATXI, was founded by Guillaume Hiriart Carriat, a young designer from Basque. At the JF3 Fashion Festival 2024, Guillaume unveiled "Egoitza," a collection inspired by the concept of home in the Basque language. This collection captivates with its soft fabrics, refined silhouettes, and a dynamic palette of blues, sandy neutrals, and vibrant Basque hues. The collection merges the sophistication of the bourgeoisie with the laid-back vibe of surfers, creating a look that’s both effortlessly chic and full of energy.
  4. Vincent Garnier of Pressiat presented “ECHO” collection
Vincent, the visionary designer behind PRESSIAT, honed his skills at Balmain and Maison Margiela, where he collaborated with John Galliano on the Artisanal collection. With PRESSIAT, he’s crafted a distinctly modern Parisian style that balances elegance with a provocative edge. At the JF3 Fashion Festival 2024, Vincent debuted "ECHO," a collection defined by his signature gender-neutral elongated silhouettes and soft cocooning shapes. The color palette is a refined mix of black, white, and dove grey, with textiles ranging from wool and lycra to vinyl, jersey, leather, shredded sequins, and silk.
