The French government is providing opportunities for young Indonesian designers to connect with the French fashion industry network. Through PINTU Incubator, which is committed to supporting talented young designers in gaining international recognition, this initiative facilitates their access to a broader audience. In collaboration with IFI and various fashion communities, PINTU Incubator serves as a platform for emerging talents to showcase their creations on a larger stage.
The event featured collections from three local brands, all alumni of the PINTU Incubator program: FUGUKU, APAKABAR, and SENSES. Each brand presented 12 collections, alongside a special showcase of 10 exclusive collections from Galeries Lafayette.
A mini talk show session, hosted by IFI and PINTU Incubator, highlighted the synergy between the French and Indonesian fashion ecosystems. The discussion provided insights into incubation programs, such as those run by PINTU, which act as a bridge for local designers to enter the global market.
This exclusive event was attended by 50 distinguished guests, including members of the French community, fashion and lifestyle media, and fashion enthusiasts. Additionally, 10 selected designers were invited to participate in the event.
With the involvement of PINTU Incubator, "Make it Iconic: Crafting the Future of Fashion" is not only a celebration but also a vital moment for young designers. It offers them the chance to gain exposure and access much-needed opportunities on the international stage. This collaboration has the potential to significantly enrich the relationship between the Indonesian and French fashion industries, creating exciting opportunities for a more innovative and inclusive future in fashion.
