PINTU Incubator Receives Recognition from French President Macron

Highlight

PINTU Incubator proudly received international appreciation during the official visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Indonesia from May 27–29, 2025. The visit marked 75 years of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and France, celebrating cooperation built on friendship, trust, and mutual respect.

One of the highlights of the visit was President Macron’s speech at Borobudur Temple on May 29, where he personally acknowledged the role of PINTU Incubator in strengthening cultural and creative collaboration between the two countries.

“To the PINTU Incubator, I extend my thanks. We will continue this incubation and training initiative that has already begun. A meaningful partnership is also in place with fashion schools in France,” said President Macron.

This public recognition is a proud moment for PINTU Incubator and the Indonesian fashion community. It shows that the incubator program developed by PINTU is making a real impact—not only in Indonesia but also on the global stage.

Earlier, on May 28, French Minister of Culture Rachida Dati visited the PINTU Incubator showcase at Bentara Budaya Jakarta. On this occasion, she also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PINTU Incubator and École Duperré Paris, one of the most respected fashion and applied arts institutions in France. This agreement lays the foundation for student exchanges, joint creative residencies, and collaborative design projects between the two countries—bringing the vision of cross-cultural learning into reality.

One of PINTU’s biggest achievements is this partnership, which opens doors for Indonesian designers to take part in international programs and gain valuable exposure in the heart of the global fashion scene.

As a fashion incubator, PINTU focuses not just on creativity but also on sustainability, storytelling, and brand development. It supports emerging designers so they can grow their careers and compete globally in the fashion business.

The appreciation from President Macron is a major milestone for PINTU and a sign that Indonesia’s creative talent is being seen and valued at the highest level. It also strengthens the friendship between Indonesia and France, especially in the cultural and creative sectors.
