PINTU Incubator proudly announced two brands that have successfully passed the third curation: Enigma and Senses. It was announced on Monday, August 9, 2024, on PINTU Incubator official Instagram @pintu_incubator. Both brands will receive intensive mentoring and gain access to global fashion networks as they are preparing for their international debut at the prestigious Premiere Classe Trade Show on September 28-30, 2024, in Carrousel du Louvre, Paris.

Enigma and Senses will showcase their products at the prestigious Premiere Classe trade show, alongside fellow PINTU Incubator alumni from the previous batch, FUGUKU. Adding to this lineup is LAKON Indonesia, the more established fashion brand founded by PINTU Incubator’s founder, Thresia Mareta. This move highlights PINTU Incubator's dedication to nurture emerging talent, fostering dynamic collaborations, and opening access for Indonesia’s fashion SMEs to thrive in the international fashion market.

Since 1989, the Premiere Classe Trade Show has been known as the world’s leading fashion event, held during the Paris Fashion Week. This year, from September 28-30, 2024, the event will take place at the historical Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. Renowned for its selection of high-end and innovative fashion, Premiere Classe stands as the meeting point for global fashion leaders, from top-tier buyers, visionary designers to influential journalists from high-end fashion magazines. This event is where the industry’s elite gather to showcase their creations, make impactful networks, and secure deals with buyers.

Here are the profile of two curated brands of PINTU Incubator 2024:

  1. Enigma (@enigmartextile)
    Inspired by Indonesian culture, ENIGMA ART TEXTILE blends art and textile to create contemporary designs with environmentally conscious style that is sustainable into luxury accessories. ENIGMA was founded in 2016, together with skilled Indonesian craftsmen to produce environmentally friendly scarves, bags, and more using traditional techniques. Each piece is crafted individually, handmade by artisans in Central Java and Bali using 100% organic fiber. By prioritizing organic materials, ENIGMA ensures high-quality products while emphasizing sustainability and environmental responsibility. Each section embodies their own “Circle of Sustainability,” fostering the well-being of the environment and society.
  2. Senses (@studio.senses)
    SENSES blends cultural heritage with modern fashion, using traditional patterns and contemporary textiles. It weaves a tapestry of tradition and modernity in sustainable, ethically crafted fashion. Founded by a passionate team in Bali, their garments pay homage to cultural heritage through intricate embroidery and traditional patterns reimagined with contemporary textiles and silhouettes. Their garments showcase intricate embroidery and delicate beadwork, highlighting exceptional craftsmanship and detail. Each piece, a testament to meticulous craftsmanship, invites a multi-sensory experience. Sight, smell, touch, hearing – SENSES inspires a poetic and quirky elegance, inviting wearers to tell their own story through fashion.

In its third year, PINTU Incubator 2024 received more than 500 submissions during the registration period in December 2023, reflecting the overwhelming enthusiasm of up-and-rising designers and fashion brands to be part of this initiative. Following a rigorous curation process, the first curation results were announced on March 20, 2024, with seven brands advancing to the next step. These brands then participated in a series of workshops, coaching sessions, and intensive mentoring led by industry professionals in fashion, business, branding, and law. On July 5, 2024, the second curation narrowed the field to five brands, who presented their collections at the JF3 Fashion Festival 2024 in Summarecon Mall Serpong on July 31, 2024. Finally, PINTU Incubator announced the third and final curation results on August 9, with Enigma and Senses emerging as the selected brands.
